INTRODUCTION With Dynamic Resolution Selection  (DRS) we aim to steer imaging parameters automatically towards appropriate settings responsive to the underlying data quality. Thereby (1) DRS reduces the complexity presented to the sonographer – the controls are reduced to a single noise-rejection setting – and (2) parameters vary within each frame to produce reliable strain data even when the signal quality is inconsistent [2,3]. We outline DRS conceptually, and we implement a prototype for Weighted Phase Separation  with Amplitude Modulation Correction  and least squares strain.
