Research is in the field of mineral beneficiation by flotation.  Specifically, I have interests in understanding the chemistry of flotation.  Complex chemical interactions occur within the three phase system in the flotation cell.  Research areas centre on the mechanism of collector-mineral interactions, depressant-mineral interactions as well as modelling of froth phases as a function of particle properties.
